Incredible story of caring during COVID Pandemic:
TLC House Indiana, Angola’s domestic violence shelter placed a “SOS plea for help” on Facebook urgently seeking bedding for sleeping rooms and supplies for residents. We included a photo of the sparse room of metal bunk beds and mattresses, and asked for help. WE GOT HELP! Thank you!
The response from the community was swift and extraordinary; We received urgently needed supplies and now our domestic violence shelter has clean bedding and pillows for its sleeping rooms to cover the up coming holiday season and well into the new year. Additional donations of non-perishable food, canned goods, hygiene products for women and babies and cash donations were received via our website:
Our thank-you: TLC’s Board and Executive Director wish to thank EVERYONE who viewed and shared our Facebook post (270-Shares, 16,000+ local reach) the outpouring of love in our community is beyond amazing. We wanted to post photos to show how you contributed to our domestic violence shelter. Consider an online donation via our website.
